1.Introduction:

“Don’t be dismayed by good-byes. A farewell is necessary before you can meet again. And meeting again, after moments or lifetimes, is certain for those who are friends.” (Richard Bach)

Good morning everyone, I would like to extend a warm welcome to our Principal ________ Sir/Madam, coordinator _________ Sir/Madam, our teachers, our non-teaching staff and most importantly, to you friends, whom we bid farewell today.

Today, you may smile or even cry. But forgetting these memories, you dare not try . (smile when you say the last 4 words)

We wish to make this day a memorable one for all you lovely people. Without much ado, let us begin this day.

2. Welcome:

“Small cheer and great Welcome make a Merry feast”

says William Shakespeare. May I now request ________ to welcome the gathering.

(Welcome speech)

Thank you _______ for the warm welcome.

3. Prayer:

When you kneel to God, He stands up for you. And when He stands up for you, no one can stand against you. With this strong belief, I call upon __________ to lead us into prayer.

(Prayer)

Thank you _________.

4. Principal’s speech:

“The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step”

says Lao Tzu. As you are ready to set start a brand-new journey of your life, who better to guide you than our Dear Principal _______. Sir/Madam, May I now request you to address the gathering.

(Speech)

Thank you, Sir/Madam, for those words of wisdom and encouragement.

5. Coordinator’s speech:

Words are powerful. They live forever and have the power to truly guide us and impact us in our lives. May I now call upon our coordinator _____ to speak a few words.

(Speech)

Thank you, Sir/Madam, for those wonderful words.

6. Senior’s talk:

Feelings aren’t ‘wrong’ or ‘right’, ‘bad’ or ‘good’. Feelings just are. They may forget what you said, but they will not forget how you made them feel.

I request any 2 seniors to come forward and share their feelings and memories with us. We are eager to listen to you.

(Talk)

Thank you.

7. Junior’s talk:

May I now request any 2 juniors to come forward and share their thoughts and convey good wishes to our seniors.

(Talk)

Thank you.

8. Lecturer’s talk:

A teacher does not replicate his/her image in the student, but molds the student into a person who can build his/her own image.

A teacher sees unlimited possibilities in a student. A teacher to the world, but a hero to us. May I now request one among the lecturers to speak a few words.
