Emcee script for Women’s Day Celebration

Introduction:

“A seasoned woman is spicy. She has been marinated in life experiences. Like a complex wine, she can be alternately sweet, tart, sparkling, mellow. She is both maternal and playful. Assured, alluring, and resourceful. She is less likely to have an agenda than a young woman — no biological clock tick-tocking beside her lover’s bed, no campaign to lead him to the altar, no rescue fantasies. The seasoned woman knows who she is. She could be any one of us, as long as she is committed to living fully and passionately in the second half of her life, despite failures and false starts.” said Gail Sheehy.

There are so many different reasons to be happy. One is that you are a woman or are surrounded by some wonderful women. A very Happy Women’s Day to all the wonderful women out there and warm greetings to all others who are here to cheer the women in their life.

We have achiever’s from different fields amongst us, to motivate us and celebrate the spirit of womanhood. I request _______ to escort the dignitaries on to the Dias.

One is not born, but rather becomes a woman. Womanhood is a journey. A rather difficult one considering the roles a woman needs to play in one life. Let’s join our minds to the Almighty and seek his Grace on us and all the women in our life.

World History is filled with women pioneers, who made progress in the field of politics, arts, science, law, humanities etc. We have women all over the world who not just dreamed of success but have worked for it and achieved it. It’s now time to get some motivation from an achiever in our midst. May I now request _______ to address the gathering.

She believed she could, so she did. You become an achiever when you believe in yourself. Women achiever’s stop victimizing themselves and try to be the heroine of their life. They do not compete with men, they compete with themselves and get better each day. We have amongst us wonderful women who are well known for their achievements in different fields. It is very apt to recognize their success today. I call upon ______ to take over the awarding ceremony.
